Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), meet your English-speaking chauffeur and begin your journey. Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage or Millennium Elephant Foundation for an elephant experience. Continue to Dambulla and explore the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its ancient murals and Buddha statues. Arrive in Sigiriya and check in.

After breakfast, climb either the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, with its ancient frescoes and Lion’s Paw, or Pidurangala Rock for panoramic views. Continue to Trincomalee and enjoy some relaxing beach time.

Travel to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Explore important historical and religious sites, including Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Isurumuniya Temple and the impressive Jethawanaramaya Stupa.

Travel to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, surrounded by beautiful hills. In the evening, enjoy the Kandy Lake Club Cultural Dance Show featuring traditional Sri Lankan music and dancing.

Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist sites. Later, explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, known for its beautiful and diverse plant collections. End the day with a visit to the historic Kandy Garrison Cemetery.

Travel through scenic tea plantations towards Nuwara Eliya. Visit Hakgala Botanical Garden, a tea factory and tea fields, with an opportunity to enjoy freshly brewed Ceylon tea. Later, relax beside Lake Gregory and enjoy the cool climate of “Little England.”

Enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella through misty mountains and tea plantations. After arrival, enjoy lunch at a local café and explore Ella’s highlights, including the Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak and Ravana’s Cave.

Drive towards Yala with a stop at the beautiful Ravana Waterfall. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in Yala National Park, where you may see elephants, leopards and many species of birds.

Visit Tissa Wewa reservoir and Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara, an ancient Buddhist temple. Continue to Mirissa and stop to taste traditional buffalo curd. Spend the evening relaxing on the beautiful beach.
